Old North Outfitters was started in 2026. What started as a thought for a side-hustle while in high school, later become what we now know as Old North Outfitters. With a goal of providing quality products, while ensuring our core value are at the forefront of who our company is. Each day we remain committed to producing products that exceed the expectations of a southern lifestyle brand. Whether it is connecting with our community or working with a client on a custom project, the mission is the same, put God first and serve rather than to be served.
How We Got Started...
Cameron Casey - Owner & Founder
I grew up in a little town of Eastern, North Carolina called La Grange. I started to gain an interest in graphic design around 2024 and from there it has grown into what I am doing today. While I didn't come from a farm family, I had past family who were influential in the industry as farmers and other related jobs. With that I gained a strong passion for agriculture. I also was a strong believer in Christ. I wanted to find a way to incorporate both of those things togather and found that in designing shirts, decals, and more.
But with that came the passion to want to do more. I decided to start making it into a business. Through this business I had two main goals, share the gospel with others through all that we do and advocate about agriculture.
Advocating for Agriculture...
My background in agriculture began at a young age, with my involvement in agriculture classes starting as early as middle school. From that point on, my passion for the industry continued to grow. Throughout middle school and high school, I was also involved in FFA, which helped deepen my understanding and appreciation for agriculture.
Through my agriculture classes and FFA experiences, I learned just how important the agriculture industry truly is. Agriculture plays a role in nearly every part of our daily lives — from the food we eat, to the homes we live in, to the clothes we wear. It is a part of everything.
One of the most important things an ordinary consumer can do is advocate for agriculture. Without agriculture, we would not have the basic necessities we depend on every day. Our need for agriculture will never go away, and without it, life as we know it would not exist.
Sharing the Gospel...
I didn't always grow up in church. I knew about God, but I didn't truly know who he was. In 2016, I started attending the church I am still at alongside my mom. Since then, I have committed my life to Christ and been baptized. Becoming a follower of Christ has truly changed my life. I serve in the church each Sunday in various capacities and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
Along with serving in my church, I serve as a leader in my school's Christian club. Being able to serve as a leader has truly given me an experience I would've never thought about having. Being able to spread the gospel, by planting that seed in the lives of students in my school, alongside other like-minded peers has been one of the biggest blessings in my life.
